Directors ViewWelcome to Spanish Homes Just For You. I would like to take this opportunity in giving you some insight to Property Selling Companies in Spain, and property in general. By, how things have changed since we first started selling properties in Spain on the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida in 2001.
Back then, the demand for buying property in Spain was at it's highest peak but unfortunately due to the demand of people wanting the dream of owning a property in Spain and with the profits that could be made, in came the 'cowboy' salesmen and women who had no experience of selling Spanish property. These so called sales people who are now pool cleaners, painter and decorators, property maintenance etc etc., have been one of the biggest culprits for causing the damage here in Spain and are partly to blame for shattering peoples dreams of owning a property in Spain.!
The general public who put their 100% trust in these 'cowboy' sales people, were not aware they were being ripped off. Then there were the 'cowboy' Estate Agents with their many offices scattered around the Costa's who played tricks on these innocent people. For example, agents refusing to take clients back to the airport because they did not want to commit to buy whilst on their Inspection Trip. Also, there were some agents who ran off with the clients deposits and monies of which the clients thought were being used to secure the properties they had agreed to buy. These are a couple of examples of the many tricks these so called 'Estate Agents' used to play.
This worldwide recession we have been in for probably the last 18 months has been good for the property market in Spain. I believe, with all the building projects which were going up everywhere, some legal, some illegal, something had to give! I believe in the phrase, 'It's like nature washing it's hands', here in Spain for the last 18 months. This 'washing it's hands' is helping to put an end to all the corrupt agents, builders and tradesmen, hopefully driving them away, never to be seen again.
