Legal Services with spanish home just for you

  • NIE Numbers

01The NIE is the Spanish tax identification number assigned to non-resident property owners in Spain, which is required for most formal registration and administrative procedures carried out in Spain including buying and selling a property. We will organise this on your behalf with your lawyer to deal with all the necessary formalities.

  • Power of Attorney

02To smooth the process on the day of completion, most people give power of attorney to their lawyer. We can arrange for you to do this so that you won't even need to be in Spain to complete the purchase of your new home.

  • Spanish Wills

03Making a Spanish Will is a sensible decision and the most popular way is the OPEN WILL to be executed before a Spanish Notary. Your lawyer will draw up your Spanish will in accordance with your instructions (in both Spanish and English) and provide legal assistance at the Notary.

  • Inheritance Tax

04Inheritance laws vary by country and there are certain differences, even contradictions, between foreign and Spanish laws on inheritance that must be taken into account. Your lawyer will be happy to provide advice and guidance to you on this subject.

  • Fiscal Representation

05As a property owner in Spain, you will have to pay a nominal tax each year based on it's value. We can assist in introducing you to a Fiscal Representative who will undertake the tax calculation, fill in the necessary forms and make the payment on your behalf.
